The complaint about not being able to play more than one octave is understandable but guys if they made the keys any smaller youd be pressing double keys. One recommendation I can make to the developer is to make the keyboard zoom and scrollable this way a swipe takes you where you need to go rather than tap on the keyboard map. And the zooming allows you to have as many keys as you want to see. I think it might be more efficient to move around the keyboard this way. Still waiting for the updates.. Keep up the great work!

this app is amazing! sure, it costs more than the other piano apps, but it makes up for that with the really good sound quality, tons of different keys, and i love the record your song feature! buy the app you wont be dissapointed!

Well, at first, I was not certain to put 4 $ in a 3,5 stars, but this just definitely worth the money! The sound are great, the control, etc.

I sing in the bass section of a local choir. How many times have I needed a portable piano just to work out a single line of music or check out a discord with the tenors or ...just find a starting note? This program is perfect for that. I use the double-keyboard with 10 keys on each. I set the lower one on C3 and the upper on F4, giving me 2-1/2 octaves, more than my vocal range. I give it 1 star for being complete and bug-free, 1 star for great user interface, 1 star for being USEFUL, satisfies my needs, 1 star for good graphics and 1 star for logical program flow. If you are a chorister, you need this one.

I love the features of this app, but wish it wouldnt freeze so often. Whenever I try to erase previously saved songs, the app gets confused. The keyboard gets stuck or changes configuration so there are alternating white and black keys, instead of the regular keyboard layout. Im hoping MooCow will solve these problems. Otherwise, a lot of fun to use.

I paid six dollarie-doos for this thinking it would be a great little insta-pocket piano. Not the case. The number one annoying feature is the title splash page that you are forced to wait through for several seconds every time the app is started. You cannot tap, double tap, swipe, flick, or shake your way past this title screen whose novelty only lasts a Worholian 15 seconds. Then, once past that, you have to select "piano" every time from its main menu. This app is incapable of instantly presenting the piano keyboard, or remembering where it was, upon startup. Nothing like wanting to whip out a ditty with friends and... uhm... hang on... wait for it... wait for it... aww never mind. On the plus side, it sounds good.

I thought this was free and I guess I accidentally bought it charging my parents some money and I was pretty angry at my self and upset because I thought this was a really stupid app and I made a huge mistake. At first I thought it was garbage and useless, but its actually pretty fun!! Once u get used to using it it can become a really useful and fun app. $4 doesnt really seem worth it, but its the best piano app around for apple! I actually wouldnt buy this, but since I did accidentally... I got to see thats its really not bad! Although i think it should be worth $2 at highest. But I love how u can change the size of ur piano and record songs on the go! Its fun to create tunes! :).

This app is great for quickly recording song riff ideas. However, the record mode is confusing and not intuitive at all. When I press record, for example, I expect to be creating a new song and not hear another one playing back! The help menu is not helpful in this regard, either. Also, Im not sure when I save something exactly what Im saving and if Ill be overwriting an existing file. So not worth the price if Im deleting or not saving what I intended.

Kindly update for iPhone 5.. Waiting for very long time now..

Cool app. Has an issue with bluetooth speakers (I’m using UE MINI BOOM): if you delay more than 12 seconds between notes, the sound stops working. You can restart it by going to settings, changing the speaker to iPhone and then changing it back to the bluetooth speaker (or by restarting the app). It’s as if the app isn’t keeping the connection alive or is being moved to the background and shutting the connection down.

It is quite interesting. I think that sound is also good. However,whole black keys are not a center of a white keys which adjoins but except # of "so". Moreover... if its only Octave to see a screen, a performance is not good. So I think it is better to shift the key when its tilted to the side. Im very glad if these are reproduced.

The sound quality and the functionality arent any better or different than the piano in GarageBand. Best use that instead of paying for this app.

best piano app you could possibly get!

The original and worst of the keyboards. Why did I think a touchscreen keyboard with nanometer keys would be worthwhile? 3.99? Id rather have a happy meal. Id get more out of it at least. If I delete this can I have my money back please?

The best one...pianist must have it...and music teachers...now I dont have to blow into a pitch pipe.

I am fortunate in being a pianist, and this little program is SUPERB for "noodling" out little tunes and compositions. Its also great for quickly finding the key and tempo of a piece. The sound is great, the recorder accurate and the metronome stable. Wonderful app!

The best piano app out there

This would be 5 stars if this could output to midi. Recorder can host a URL or send an email to get your recorded sounds to your computer. This software should do the same with midi files.

Crashes on me quite often. Also will sporadically make a sustained white noise sound and will not stop until te program is ended This is my second iPhone so I know its not a hardware issue.
